Greenville, N.C. – Women's golf finished up their two-day, 54-hole tournament at the Pirate Collegiate Classic this afternoon. The team came in 5
th place overall after scoring a twenty-two over par 886. Four Panthers finished in the top 20, including
Sarah Kahn who came in 2
nd, just two strokes behind Georgetown's Gabriella Gilrowski. Kahn carded a seven under par 209, shooting a 69 on the final day to bump up one place in the leaderboards. Kahn was also registered an eagle on a par 5 hole in the first round of the tournament.
A highlight from the two-day event was breaking the programs 36-hole low which was previously set during the 2019-20 season at the Golfweek Program Championship with a 10-under par score. The record now sits at seven-under par following day one of the Pirate Collegiate Classic.
