- This is the 27th meeting between High Point and Presbyterian, with the Panthers holding a commanding 20-6 lead in the series.
- HPU dominates the Blue Hose at home, going 12-0 against PC in the Millis Center.
- The Purple and White started off the series as best they could, winning the first 10 meetings between the schools
- High Point swept the season series a year ago, winning by 39 at home and seven on the road. Sophomore Skyler Curran had double-digit points in both games, scoring 15 in the rout at home and 10 on the road.

Panther Notes
- The Panthers made it two road wins in a row on Saturday, beating Longwood 76-69 in Farmville, Va.
- Curran led the team in points and rebounds, scoring 24 and grabbing six boards. It's the seventh time this season she's led the team in points and rebounds.
- Redshirt sophomore Zaria Wright joined Curran in the 20s, scoring 20 points for the first time in her career. It's the first time since the opening game of last season that the Panthers have had two 20-point scorers in the same game.
- Also scoring a career-high in the game was redshirt freshman Jenson Edwards with 16 points. Her and Wright played a key role in the comeback in the fourth to get the win, with Edwards converting on an old-fashioned three-point play with 2:10 remaining to give the Panthers the lead for good.
- Saturday's win gives the Panthers 800 in program history, becoming the second member of the Big South to reach 800 wins as a program since the Purple and White started play in the 1967-68 season, joining Hampton.
- Brown will be recognized before the game for becoming the 13th Panther to score 1,000 points in the Division I era of High Point University women's basketball. She's currently in 10th place on the HPU Division I scoring list with 1,042 points, 17 away from moving into ninth place.
- High Point is closing in on its single-season record for three-point makes and attempts, entering the game 161 makes and 530 attempts. The Panthers are 39 makes away from becoming the first team in program history to make 200 triples in a season and 84 attempts shy from setting a new record of 614 attempts from behind the arc.

Across the Bench
- Presbyterian in 5-11 on the year with a 1-6 mark in conference play.
- The Blue Hose's lone win came on the road at Gardner-Webb last Tuesday (Jan. 14).
- Presbyterian scores the least amount of points per game in the Big South but limits opponents to 57.8 PPG, the third-fewest in the conference and 43rd-best in the country.
- Trinity Johnson leads the offense with a scoring average of 14.6 PPG. She's also a big reason the PC defense is as good as it is, leading the team with 44 steals for an average of 2.93 per game, both second in the conference and 33rd and 20th in Division I, respectively.
- Johnson and Kacie Hall share the facilitating duties for PC, with Johnson dishing out 45 helpers to Hall's 40. That gives Johnson an average of 3.0 assists per game, 10th in the Big South, while the All-Big South Preseason Second Team nominee Hall sits tied for 12th in the conference with her average of 2.5 APG.
- Jade Compton is the leading rebounder for the Blue Hose, bringing down an average of 5.6 rebounds per game so far this season.
