HIGH POINT, N.C. -Â High Point University baseball will look for the season sweep of NC Central this Tuesday, as the Panthers visit Durham for the second leg of this year's home-and-home series with the Eagles. HPU comes into the midweek contest riding a series victory over in-conference opponent USC Upstate, while the Eagles try to put an end to a five-game losing streak.
The Panthers are 3-0 against MEAC opponents this season, defeating NC A&T in back-to-back contests, and emerging victorious in a 6-4 decision against the Eagles in February. If High Point can deliver a win this Tuesday at Durham Athletic Park it will be the first time they have beaten the Eagles twice in the same year since 2013.
