HIGH POINT, N.C. - High Point University baseball is no stranger to schedule changes this year, as the Panthers are going to see some adjustments to their series' start times for a second straight weekend. In order to avoid some incoming inclement weather, HPU's series opener with William & Mary will now be kicking off at 3 PM this Friday, while the two clubs wrap up the series with a Saturday doubleheader slated for 1 PM.

HPU looks to extend their winning streak to three straight as William & Mary come to Williard Stadium this weekend. The three games with the Tribe will be the first weekend series the Panthers have hosted in 2019, after all three of HPU's scheduled contests against Saint Joseph's were cancelled earlier this year.
Returning home from a victorious 8-1 defeat of nearby North Carolina A&T, the Panthers kickoff their four-game home stand with the Tribe this Friday, in search of Head Coach
Craig Cozart's 300th career win. In his 11th year at the helm of the Panther program, Cozart has collected 295 victories in Purple & White, in addition to four wins as an interim head coach at his alma mater UCF.
High Point enters Friday's contest with William & Mary on a two-game winning streak, combining for 14 runs, 16 hits and four homers during that span. The Panthers are playing the Tribe for a second consecutive year after dropping two of three in Williamsburg the previous season. HPU did take home a 17-3 victory during game two of that previous series, while the pitching staff set a Division I program record strikeouts (17) during game one.
