Emma Bockrath and
Lindsey Edwards of the High Point University women's basketball team earned Google Cloud Academic All-District honors announced by the Collegiate Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA) Thursday (Feb. 21).

Bockrath was named to the Academic All-District teams in 2016 and 2017. She currently leads the Panthers with 16.2 points per game and 7.3 rebounds per game. Bockrath is 15
th in the NCAA in steals per game at 3.13. In the classroom, the Dayton, Ohio native boasts a 3.80 GPA while majoring in Biology-Health Science. She becomes the first player in program history to achieve the honor three times.

Edwards has a 3.93 cumulative GPA with a major in Communication-Strategic Communication. On the court, Edwards averages 10.7 points, 4.8 rebounds and 2.3 steals per game. She is a two-time Big South All-Academic Team selection and a three-time Millis Scholar Athlete honoree.

Both will now be eligible for the CoSIDA Academic All-America Team, which recognizes the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the court and in the classroom.

The Panthers will be back in action Saturday, Feb. 23, as they host Gardner-Webb at 4 p.m. in the Millis Center.
