HIGH POINT, N.C.— High Point University women's soccer faces James Madison for the first time in school history this Sunday, traveling to Harrisonburg for a 1 p.m. kickoff.
HPU came just short of their second winning decision of the season, falling on the wrong side of a 1-0 defensive battle against Marshall. The Panthers will look to get back on track after a pair of losses to the Herd and UNCG, facing a JMU squad that has produced a single win in 2018.Â
The Dukes are currently on a four-game losing streak, falling by a single goal to George Mason the previous week. JMU has been outscored just 13-6 in their five losses this season, four of which were one-goal deficits.
