HIGH POINT, N.C.—High Point University looks to continue its hot start to 2018, competing in the first road match of the regular season this Sunday at UNC Wilmington. Just two days removed from a 4-0 shutout win over Appalachian State, the Panthers will attempt to duplicate the early successes of a young campaign that has already seen four newcomers register points.

• A pair of late goals secured a 3-1 victory for UNCW over VCU this past Friday, with junior forward Kirsten Bootes tallying the game-winner in the 67th minute
• While the Seahawks were outshot 12-10 by the Rams in their season opener, UNCW steered eight of their attempts on goal to VCU's six
• UNC Wilmington finished the 2017 season with a record of 6-11-2, placing 10th in the Colonial Athletic Association
