Tarique Thompson had a career day against the Bucs on Saturday. The forward tallied 19 points and four blocked shots, both career highs.

Anthony Lindauer went 3-3 from 3-point range against the Bucs and now has at least three 3-pointers in six of the last seven games (12 overall this season). Lindauer is third in the HPU all-time career record book for 3-point shooting percentage at .423 and is tied with Dustin Van Weehuizen (2000-03) for sixth in school history with 163 career 3-pointers.

• After missing two seasons with knee injuries, redshirt-senior
Miles Bowman Jr. has emerged as one of the top players in the Big South. He is 11th in the league in scoring at 13.8 points per game and is averaging 15.0 points per game in conference play. The redshirt-senior ranks among the nation's leaders in free throw shooting and rebounding and he is tied for the Big South lead with 11 double-doubles in 25 games. He is one of just 41 players in the nation to record at least 11 double-doubles this season.

• Despite ranking as one of the shortest teams in Div. I this season according to KenPom, High Point has been one of the top rebounding teams in the Big South since the start of league play. The Panthers won the rebounding battle in 13 of the last 14 contests and have allowed just 32.6 rebounds per game, tops in the conference. Bowman Jr. is ranked third in the Big South and 105th in the nation with 8.0 rebounds per game.

• HPU has excelled in free throw shooting on the road, going 201-257 (.782). Overall, High Point ranks third in the Big South and 92nd in the nation in free throw percentage at .732 (408-557). Redshirt-senior

• Wright currently sits second in the Big South in assists per game (3.7) in his first collegiate campaign. He has 104 assists while committing just 58 turnovers and is third in the conference with a 1.7 assist-to-turnover ratio. The freshman needs 18 more assists to crack the top-10 single-season assist totals in HPU program history. The HPU freshman record for assists is 144 set by David Singleton in 2008-09.

High Point is 32-20 all-time against Campbell and 8-2 against the Camels since they joined the Big South in the 2010-11 season. The Panthers earned an 83-78 win earlier in the year on Jan. 19 in Buies Creek. High Point outscored Campbell by 11 in the second half to rally for an 83-78 win at Gore Arena. HISTORY vs. IN-STATE OPPONENTS
High Point has complied a 330-273 (.547) record all-time against Div. I programs hailing from the Tar Heel State. HPU's most common opponents are Elon (86-76, .531), Appalachian State (60-36, .625) and Western Carolina (40-23, .635). The majority of those meetings came during the NAIA era. High Point is 80-73 (.523) against Big South programs from North Carolina and 250-200 (.556) against the rest of the state's Div. I teams. HPU is 3-3 against Div. I teams from North Carolina this season with wins over UNCG, Gardner-Webb and Cambpell and losses to UNC Asheville twice and Western Carolina once.

A LOOK AT THE CAMELS (13-15, 6-10 BIG SOUTH)
The Camels are coming off a 66-53 setback Saturday against Big South leader UNC Asheville. Chris Clemons, the nation's 4th-leading scorer, missed the game due to injury, but the Camels stayed close by shooting 65 percent in the second half. Shane Whitfield and Marcus Burk led CU with 14 points and Cory Gensler added 11. Clemons (23.4 ppg) has scored at least 20 points 20 times in 27 games this year, most in the Big South. The nation's 4th-leading scorer, Clemons has moved into 20th place on CU's all-time scoring list (1187), 10th in the Division I era (since '77-78) and has already broken the school sophomore class scoring mark (631) previously set by Jonathan Rodriguez (631).
