HIGH POINT, N.C. – The High Point University men's basketball team continues to build its non-conference schedule for the 2026-27 season and announced the addition of George Mason to the home slate on December 2, 2026. This will be the first meeting between the Panthers and Patriots in program history.
 
George Mason finished the 2025-26 season with an overall record of 23-10 and an 11-7 record in the Atlantic 10 Conference. After falling in the A-10 Tournament, the Patriots hosted Liberty in the NIT. George Mason is coached by Tony Skinn who will enter his fourth season at the helm and has lead his teams to three-straight 20-win seasons. George Mason is one of just three A-10 programs during Skinn's tenure to finish in the NET top-100 in all three seasons.
