HIGH POINT, N.C. – High Point University men's indoor track &  field's Britton Mann and women's basketball's Camryn Brown have been named the Lindsay Properties HPU Student-Athletes of the Week for the week of Jan. 16–Jan. 22.

Mann posted two top-10 finishes and set a new school record in the shot put during the Virginia Tech Invitationals. Mann finished ninth in the weight throw on Friday with a top of 12.90m (42-4) on Friday then followed that up with a ninth-place finish in the shot put with a throw of 15.05m (49-41Ž2). The effort by Mann bested the previous school record of 14.28m set by Jim Wilson in 2015. 

Brown led the Panthers to a crucial victory over the Big South preseason favorites, UNC Asheville, on Saturday in Asheville, N.C. The freshman poured in a game-high 16 points including a flawless 10-of-10 performance from the charity stripe. The Copley, Ohio product added four assists in the win and averaged 9.5 points, 3.5 assists and 3.5 rebounds on the week.
