Probable Starting Pitchers:
• Thursday Game One: Redshirt-senior

• Thursday Game Two: Sophomore
Carson Jackson will make his first start of the season and the second start of his career when he takes the mound against Liberty in the second game of Thursday's doubleheader. The two-way player sports a 1.04 ERA with 13 strikeouts in 8-1/3 innings out of the pen this season but he has struggled with control, walking 12. • Friday: Junior Andrew Scrubb will try to pick up his eighth win of the season for High Point on Friday. Scrubb suffered a tough luck loss against the Camels, giving up just three runs, two earned, with seven strikeouts in six innings. Last Time Out: High Point took one of three games at Campbell over the weekend, dropping the first two games by identical 4-3 scoreless before bouncing back with an 11-1 win on Sunday. Redshirt-junior

Andrew Gottfried turned in a strong outing on the mound in the series finale, allowing just one earned run on five hits while striking out five in seven innings to earn his sixth win of the season.

Mansfield Closing Strong: Redshirt-junior
Tim Mansfield is ending the 2016 season on a hot streak, hitting .481 (13-27) with five RBI, six runs scored and seven walks in eight games in May. I record for career wins and has guided High Point to its five winningest seasons in the Div. I era.
