LAST TIME OUTHPU dropped a 12-8 contest to Elon Tuesday in Vert Stadium. Playing without leading scorer
Samantha Brown due to injury, the Panthers trailed by two at the half (4-2) and cut it to one (4-3) less than a minute into the second. But the Phoenix used a 3-0 run midway through the period to take control of the game.

Erica Perrotta led the Panthers offensively with a career-best four goals, including three in the second half. Freshman
Molly Andrews made 11 saves in a solid effort in the cage for HPU, while fellow freshman
Samantha Herman recorded two goals and three assists.

PANTHERS AT HOME IN LEAGUE PLAYHPU is 15-0 all-time against Big South opponents inside Vert Stadium. Last season, HPU posted a 4-0 regular season home mark in league play and defeated Longwood, 14-9, in Big South Quarterfinal action in High Point.

HISTORY vs. COASTAL CAROLINASaturday's game marks the fourth all-time meeting between the Panthers and Chanticleers. HPU holds a 2-1 advantage in the series. The Panthers earned a home victory over Coastal (17-4) in 2013 and won at CCU in 2014 (13-5). However, HPU will be looking to avenge a 15-12 loss at Coastal last season.

Leah Pace each posted three goals and an assist in last season's meeting.

A LOOK AT THE CHANTICLEERS (4-3, 0-0 Big South) Coastal Carolina was picked to finish third out of nine teams in the 2016 Big South preseason poll. The Chanticleers posted a 4-3 non-conference record and had posted four straight wins before falling at Louisville, 16-2, on March 20. The Chanticleers are 18
th in the country in fewest turnovers per game.

CCU is led by an outstanding goalie, junior Jenna Stover, who ranks ninth nationally in save percentage (.516) and 15
th in saves per game. Senior Sara Nolan leads the Chanticleers in points (17g, 5a) while junior Maggie Carr has posted a team-best 13 assists and 18 total points.
