HIGH POINT, N.C. – Coming off the biggest comeback in High Point University men's basketball team Div. I history, the Panthers return home to take on Drexel at the Millis Center on Saturday, Dec. 3.

• High Point wrapped up a two-game road swing on Monday, Nov. 28, with a dramatic come-from-behind win at Morgan State. Senior
Anthony Lindauer delivered HPU the win with a buzzer-beating 3-pointer from 30 feet.

• The Panthers trailed by as much as 20 points midway through the second half before outscoring Morgan State, 31-10, over the final nine-plus minutes to pick up the 62-61 win. It was the largest deficit that HPU has overcome in a win in the Div. I era (1999-present). High Point's largest comeback prior to Monday was 18 points against Birmingham Southern in 2004.

• Lindauer's buzzer beater was the first for the Purple & White since 2009 when High Point won at Presbyterian College, 63-61, on a Tehran Cox layup.

• Fox was named the Big South Player of the Week on Nov. 21 after averaging 18.5 points and shooting 57.1 percent from the field over four games last week.

• Fox is third in the Big South in scoring (17.3 ppg) and seventh in field goal percentage (.461). He has posted 20+ points in four of seven games, second in the conference.

Miles Bowman Jr. is one of 26 players nationally with four double-doubles in 2016-17. He is second in the Big South and 38th nationally in rebounds/game (9.6).

• High Point struggled from the free-throw line through the first five games of the season, shooting .638 (74-116). That changed over the past two games as the Purple & White has shot .837 (36-43) in games against Clemson and Morgan State. Bowman leads the Big South and ranks 11th in the nation in free throw percentage at .950 (19-20).

Jamal Wright is third in the Big South in assists per game (3.6) and has dished out 25 assists while committing just 14 turnovers (1.8 A/TO ratio, 3rd in BSC).

• The Panthers are second in the Big South in scoring defense (67.6 ppg) and have limited opponents to 62 or fewer points in all four wins in 2016-17.

HISTORY vs. DREXEL
High Point and Drexel met for the first time last season when the Panthers earned a 75-66 win in Philadelphia, Pa.
John Brown led the Purple & White with 23 points on 8-of-13 shooting while also grabbing a team-high nine rebounds.
Adam Weary added 18 points while
Lorenzo Cugini chipped in with 12 points.

HISTORY vs. CAA OPPONENTS
The Panthers are 105-91 (.536) all time against current members of the Colonial Athletic Association. HPU's most common opponents are Elon (86-76), UNC Wilmington (10-6) and William & Mary (4-3). HPU went 1-1 against teams from the CAA last season with a win at Drexel and an overtime loss at William & Mary. The Panthers forced overtime at the Tribe last season thanks to a layup by
Haiishen McIntyre at the buzzer. Cugini led the team with 20 points and eight rebounds in the contest.

A LOOK AT THE DRAGONS (3-4, 0-0 CAA)
Drexel is in its first season under new head coach Zach Spiker after finishing 6-25 last season. The Dragons are 3-4 through the first seven games of 2016-17 with wins over Hartford, North Texas and Lafayette. Drexel is led this season by freshman guard Kurk Lee who is averaging 16 points and four assists per game. Senior forward Rodney Williams is second on the team with an average of 15.4 points per game while junior guard Sammy Mojica is averaging 12.1 points and a team-high 7.1 rebounds per contest. The Dragons were picked ninth out of 10 teams in the CAA Preseason Poll, finishing above Delaware.
