Asheville got a run back in the top of the fourth on Hunter Bryant's 12th home run of the season. The Bulldog first baseman hit a deep shot over the wall in left-center to make the score 2-1.

The Panthers answered right back with two runs in the bottom of the inning to extend its lead to 4-1. Senior Cody Manzella led off the inning with a single and came around to score from first on a double to the gap by sophomore Peter Ripke.
