Continuous rain and poor field conditions have forced the cancellation of the remainder of the High Point-Radford Big South baseball series in Radford, Va. scheduled to continue Sunday morning.

With the cancellation of the series, the Panthers win Friday's suspended game, 16-11. Due to both teams not having an official at-bat in the ninth, the score reverts back to the previous inning's score and the grand slam by Bill Manion is taken away.  Eight innings are officially in the books for that contest, which was stopped due to darkness.  High Point (5-8, 1-3) picks up its first conference win and snaps a five game losing streak.  Radford (4-8, 0-1) is currently on a three game losing streak.

HPU will return to the diamond on Tuesday, March 17, when it travels to Cullowhee, N.C. to take on Western Carolina in a non-conference match-up.  First pitch is scheduled for 5:00 p.m.
