UNC Greensboro remained unbeaten in 2003 with a 13-5 win over homestanding High Point Wednesday afternoon at Erath Field.
The game between the Spartans and Panthers took more than four hours to play.
UNCG is now 5-0 on the season, while the Panthers' two-game winning streak is history. HPU falls to 2-5.
Chris Hyatt (0-2) took the loss for High Point while Jarrett Santos picked up the win in relief (2-0).
Rey Rojas was the top offensive performer for the Panthers (3-4, two runs scored).
Ryan Gordon went 2-for-3 with three RBI and two runs scored, while Jason Sarvis went 3-for-4 with three runs scored to lead UNCG
HPU heads south for a three-game series at Charlotte this weekend. The opener is Friday at 3:30 pm.
