2019-20 Indoor: Part of the winning DMR at the Keydet Invitational (1/17-18)... Recorded a personal best of 4:51.94 on the way to placing fifth in the mile and won the 3000m run at the Hokie Invitational (1/24-25)... Placed fifteenth in the 3000m out of a field of 48 at the Music City Challenge (2/14-15).

2019 Outdoor: Returned to NCAA East Preliminaries, running a Big South & program record of 10:09.40 in the 3000m... Her finish at East prelims put her a second shy of qualifying for NCAA National Championships, coming in a single spot outside the qualifying group... Repeated as Big South Most Outstanding Track Performer of the Year, after taking Big South Championship (5/9-10) titles in the 1500m (4:31.03), 5000m (17:05.13) and 3000m steeple (10:35.83)... Including both finals and prelims, she was a perfect eight-for-eight when running in the Big South Outdoor Championships at the end of her sophomore year... Made her season debut at the Yellow Jacket Invitational (3/15-16) where she took second and fourth in the 1500m (4:31.48) and 800m (2:12.90) respectively... Her 10:20.93 during the Virginia Challenge 3000m Steeple (4/20) was good enough to place her 20th among the NCAA East and qualify for regionals... Her 10:09.40 ranked 38th in the nation before National Championships.

2018-19 Indoor: Earned Big South Most Outstanding Track Performer (2/15-16) after repeating as both the Mile (5:05.68) and 3000m (10:03.03) conference champion... Took first in the Keydet Invitational Mile (1/18)... Ran a season-best time of 9:58.40 in the 3000m during the Camel City Invitational (2/1).

2018 International: Competed in the IAAF World U20 Championships in Tampere, Finland, where she took 16th in the 3000m Steeplechase with a time of 10:12.42.

2018 Outdoor: Big South Runner of the Year... Big South Outdoor Championships Runner of the Meet... Qualified for the NCAA East Preliminaries, finishing 17th in the 3,000m steeplechase in a school-record 10:11.03... Big South Champion in 1,500 meters, 5,000 meters and 3,000m steeplechase... Broke the school record in the 5,000m in 16:51.45 at the conference meet... Won the 800m in a season-best 2:09.33 at the Liberty Twilight... Won the 1,500m in a season-best 4:27.72 at the Mountaineer Open... Also won the steeplechase at VertKlasse.

2017-18 Indoor: Big South Champion in the mile and 3,000 meters... Set a season-best time in the 3,000m in 9:45.85 at the conference meet. Won the mile in a season-best 4:53.96 at the VMI Team Challenge... Helped break the school record in the DMR of 11:45.81 at the Darius Dixon Memorial.

Background: Represented the Netherlands at European Youth Olympic Festival in Tbilisi, Georgia... 2016 Dutch junior indoor champion in 800 meters... Silver medalist in 800 meters at 2015 Dutch junior outdoor championships... Placed third in 800 meters at 2016 Dutch junior outdoors.

Personal: Daughter of Lenny and Andre Heinst... Has an older brother, Jorn... Intending to major in exercise science.
