CHARLOTTE, N.C. – With Big South Conference play opening this week, the league announced the Women's Soccer Midseason Watch List, which was compiled by the head coaches of each team in the conference. This is the second season the conference has announced this list. Each team is allowed to nominate four players to be included based on their performance during non-conference play.

Chloe Edwards, Sabba Haghgoo, Kari Powell, and Coryn McDonnell were the four Panthers to be named to the Big South Midseason Watch List. 

Edwards, a freshman from Nashville, Tenn., has played in every game this season making one start against Florida Gulf Coast University. The forward made her first collegiate goal against East Carolina University, August 23. She has 301 minutes on the pitch with seven shots, three being on goal.
 
Haghgoo, a true junior coming from Crofton, Md., has been a standout player for the Purple and White totaling four goals this season three being in a single game against Marshall. She has started and played in every game this season totaling 479 minutes. Haghgoo has 21 shots this season with 11 on goal.
 
Powell, a senior from Boiling Springs, Pa., was awarded Preseason player of the year to start the season and has been a solid midfielder this season recording 610 minutes, playing nearly four full games.
 
McDonnell, a defender from Estell Manor, N.J., has 706 minutes on the pitch where she has started every game, taking on the full 90 minutes of play for seven of the eight games this season.
