HIGH POINT, N.C. — After a record-breaking 2024-2025 season where the High Point University women's golf team broke the program's team birdie and eagle record, the Panthers are on pace to top those feats after a strong fall campaign.
The Birdie Club Team combined for 251 birdies — which is 17 more than last season after the fall — and 193 under-par shots for the Birdie Club Tournament Team, while the Eagle Club had three eagles, one off from last fall.
In 2024-25, the Panthers bested the 2023-24 team birdie record of 327 birdies with 332 total and the 2017-18 eagle team record of seven eagles with eight total. The reigning 2025 Big South Conference Medalist
Julia McLaughlin led the way with eagles and broke a record herself, becoming the career eagles' holder with five in HPU history.
The 2025-26 team has been chipping away and looking to overtake another conference medalist in Sarah Kahn, who holds the single-season birdie record with 92 in 2022-2023.

Anais Arafi is second with 40 and junior
