BLACKSBURG, Va. – The High Point University Women's Track and Field team traveled to Blacksburg, Virginia for the second consecutive weekend to compete at the Hokie Invitational on Friday and Saturday.

On the track, Kendall Hicks and Quiana Williams qualified for the women's 60m finals. Hicks placed fifth and recorded a personal best 7.60 time on Friday night before competing in the women's 200m on Saturday, recording a personal best 24.74 time, crossing the finish line in fifth place. Gianna Paul advanced to the women's 60m hurdles finals and placed fourth with a season-best 8.64 time.

In the women's triple jump, Zamesha Myle represented the Panthers, finishing in second place with a jump of 12.43m. Paul continued her strong day placing fifth in the women's long jump, posting a personal best 5.86m for indoors. Gabrielle Crane joined Paul in the long jump and placed seventh with a jump of 5.69m.

In the throwing events, Ashlyn Giles finished second in the women's shot put throwing an impressive 15.97m, just short of her program record.

In the women's pole vault, Emily Romano recorded a height of 3.94m for fifth place and Grady Moyer scored a personal best height indoors of 3.94m.
