CHARLOTTE, N.C. — High Point University women's golfer Anna Howerton was named the Big South Conference Co-Golfer of the Week, which the conference office announced Thursday afternoon.

After her performance at the Low Country Intercollegiate this past weekend at Moss Creek Golf Course in Hilton Head, Howerton receives her first weekly honor of the spring season. Howerton stayed in the top-5 for the entire tournament with 2-over-par 74 rounds on the first and second days. She clinched the win with a final round of 1-under-par 71. This is Howerton's first medalist honor this season.
