HIGH POINT, N.C. – On Tuesday evening at Vert Stadium, the High Point University Panthers hosted Queens University of Charlotte for a mid-week non-conference game. From the start, the Panthers offense rolled through the game and defeated the Royals, 18-7, making it the team's largest margin of victory thus far this season.
"I'm proud of our team to have gotten a win tonight, Head Coach
John Crawley stated. "Going into the game, we knew we were going to get a Queens team that was going to play very hard. After a bit of a slower start, I thought our guys got more organized on both sides of the ball and started to play better complimentary lacrosse.
Luca Accardo had a great day at the X , and our attack unit of
Justin Wixted,
Owen Bunten and
Carson Robins did a nice job settling into the game.
John Adams and
Zack Brenfleck did a nice job with our defense… and it was good to see a lot of guys contribute out of the defensive midfield. We need to continue winning each day and keep developing."
