CHARLOTTE, N.C. – For the first time this season, the High Point University men's basketball team received a Big South Freshman of the Week award. The 6'9" Cincinnati, Ohio native, Caden Miller received the honor after a strong week in the power forward position.
 
Miller helped the Panthers pick-up two wins to end the non-conference season and close out 2025. He averaged 16 minutes of playing time in each game last week, and produced 8.0 points per game, 4.5 rebounds and 2.5 blocks. In the first game against Bryant he registered six points, three rebounds and a team-high three blocks. He scored a season-high 10 points against Pfeiffer while picking up six rebounds and handing out two assists. Overall Miller shot 66.7% from the field.
 
Miller and High Point will open the Big South conference season on Wednesday, December 31 with a game on the road at UNC Asheville inside the Kimmel Center at 2:00 p.m. The game will be streamed on ESPN+.
