HPU Women's Lacrosse Releases 2026 Schedule

HIGH POINT, N.C. — The High Point University women's lacrosse 2026 schedule has been released after being announced Wednesday afternoon by HPU Head Coach Lyndsey Boswell.

The Panthers have a 17-game slate that features nine games out of conference as the schedule consists of 11 home games with only two back-to-back road contests.

On January 31, the Panthers will open up the season in an exhibition home opener against the Davidson Wildcats. This will be the fifth year in a row where the season is opened up against the Wildcats with the prior two also being exhibitions.

High Point once again opens up the regular season against the Duke University Blue Devils on February 6. The Panthers took down Duke in 2018 at home and will look to pull off the upset once again in Vert Stadium.

The Campbell Camels come into town on February 14 as the Panthers are 15-1 all-time against the former Big South Conference foe.

In the final opening stretch at home, the Navy Midshipmen will come to High Point for the first time since 2012 on February 21. This will be the Panthers' all-time sixth meeting with the academy and second in the past year.

The first road contest for the Panthers of the 2026 season sends the 12-time Big South champions out west to face the Denver University Pioneers on March 1. The Panthers have not played the Pioneers since 2018 as the two squared off in the NCAA Tournament. This will be High Point's fourth matchup against the Pioneers and first time going to Coloardo since 2013.

The team will stay on the road but will head back to the state of North Carolina for a clash against the Elon Phoenix on March 5. The Panthers are riding a two-game win streak against the Phoenix, and are 6-4 all-time. This will be the fifth year in a row that the two Triad teams face off.

Vert Stadium will see women's lacrosse action once again on March 14 as the Liberty Flames come into town. High Point will host Liberty for the first time since 2021 and will look to take down the Flames for the first time since 2019.

Three days later on March 17, the Virginia Tech Hokies will face the Panthers as this will be the team's second contest since 2016. Last year, High Point took down Virginia Tech in a nail biter, 14-13.

Big South Conference play will open up on the road in Rock Hill, S.C., against the Winthrop Eagles on March 25. High Point is 15-3 all time against Winthrop and has won 11 in a row.

The conference's top rivalry takes place on March 28 as the Mercer Bears will travel to Vert Stadium. The Panthers are 3-7 against the Bears as the two teams have competed twice in each of the last four seasons. The second game of the homestand will bring the Longwood Lancers to High Point on April 1. The Panthers are 17-0 against the Lancers.

High Point will take to the road once again against the Wofford College Terriers on April 4 as the Panthers are 4-0 all-time against the Big South opponent. On April 8, the Panthers will look to make it 11-0 against the Radford Highlanders when they host Radford.

An away matchup sees the Panthers take on Furman on April 11. The Panthers are 7-1 against the Paladins and have won the last four, including a win in the conference semifinal last season for Boswell's 200th career victory. A late non-conference game is scheduled for High Point as the Panthers will welcome the East Carolina University Pirates on April 15. This is the two team's first meeting.

In the final away game of the regular season, the Panthers head to Boiling Springs, N.C., to face the Runnin' Bulldogs of Gardner-Webb University. The game will be held on April 22 as High Point is 11-0 all-time against the conference opponent.

Senior Day and the team's FOJ 5k Fundraiser will take place on April 25 in a matchup against Presbyterian College. The Panthers are 16-0 against the Blue Hose.

The quarterfinal of the Big South Conference tournament will be played on April 28th while the semifinal and championship game will be held the weekend of May 1st. The higher seed will host the quarterfinal before advancing to the highest seed remaining for the semifinal on May 1 and championship on May 3.
