Charlotte, N.C. – For the third time this season, High Point University volleyball player Maya Bukovcan was named the Big South Freshman of the Week on Monday afternoon.
 
The freshman averaged 2.00 kills per set, 1.29 blocks per set and 2.79 points per set during the matches over the weekend at Gardner-Webb and Winthrop. She had a weekend-high 11 kills versus Winthrop with a game-high five blocks. She recorded a .345 hitting percentage across seven sets and added five digs and two assists to her stat line.
