HIGH POINT, N.C. — The High Point University-Winthrop University women's soccer match on Saturday, September 28 at Eagle Field has been postponed due to inclement weather from Hurricane Helene, the Big South Conference announced Thursday.

The Panthers and Eagles will now play in Rock Hill during fall break on Tuesday, October 8 at 3 p.m. HPU won its conference opener, defeating Longwood 2-0, while Winthrop fell to Charleston Southern, 4-1.

HPU faces Gardner-Webb in its next home match on Wednesday, Oct. 2 at 7 p.m.
