CHARLOTTE, N.C. — High Point University's Anais Arafi has been awarded the Big South Conference Freshman of the Week after her first collegiate tournament at the 2024 Golfweek Challenge as announced by the conference Thursday afternoon.

Arafi shot an even-par 72 to start the tournament off in her first-ever collegiate round, where she sunk two birdies on the back nine. In round two, she carded a 75. Arafi finished with 83 for round three with two birdies on holes 15 and 16. She tied for 63rd place overall.
