Panthers Welcome Fifth Straight Top-Ranked Recruiting Class

HIGH POINT, N.C. – High Point University Men's Soccer welcomes the 19th-ranked recruiting class in the nation. This makes five straight top-25 nationally ranked recruiting classes under Head Coach Zach Haines.

Haines on recruiting class: "We feel great about this class. My staff put in an incredible amount of work to make it happen. We knew for a while that this would be the most significant ingoing/outgoing roster change in my time at HPU. It was the result of many guys wanting to stay with the program for their fifth and even sixth years in the case of Tony (Pineda) and Alex (Abril) for 2023. Our staff also decided to slightly increase our roster size from years prior due to the new substitution rules, and the midweek game schedule. In order to integrate this number of guys into the program as effectively as possible, we brought in six in January, and twelve in August so that the transition was not too much all at once. We are extremely excited about the future of the program as we were able to address positional needs, as well as balance each class freshman through senior."
