High Point, N.C. – High Point University will host the Big South Volleyball Tournament for the third year in a row. HPU was announced as the host after winning the Big South Conference regular season during the 2023 campaign. The tournament will begin on Friday, November 22nd with the quarterfinals and end on Sunday, November 24th with the crowning of a Big South Champion. The Panthers earned the No. 1 seed with a bye to the semifinals and will play the winner of the 4/5 seed matchup on Saturday at 3:00 p.m.

Regular Season Recap
High Point finished the regular season with a 21-6 overall record and a 13-1 record in league play. The Panthers registered 12 sweeps during the season with the most recent sweep in the last regular season game at Radford. HPU is led on the attack by Dylan Maberry with 405 kills in her 100 sets played, averaging 4.05 kills per set on the outside. The duo of Arica Davis and Baylea Sparks have been a threat at the net in the middle, each reaching over 100 blocks apiece during the regular season. Jordyn Schilling guides the team on the back row in the libero spot totaling 491 digs to average 4.91 digs per set. She also leads the team and conference in service aces with 47. High Point has rotated between a 6-2 rotation and a 5-1 rotation throughout the season with the help of Allie Gray and Hannah Hawkins as the setters. Gray has tallied 648 assists while Hawkins tallied 405 assists.
 
NCAA Tournament - How Does it Work?
The winner of the Big South Volleyball Championship will earn an automatic bid to the first round of the NCAA Tournament. The selection show will take place on December 1st.
