Buies Creek, NC - High Point played the Campbell in the last contest of a three game series. David Keith took the mound for the Panthers, trying to help HPU pick up a win in the series. Not having a strong presence at the plate for the Panthers resulted in the 14-3 loss.

Sunday's contest started with the Panthers going down by four runs in the first inning after a Campbell bases loaded single and home run.
In the second, Campbell tacked on another run to make it 5-0 before adding their sixth run in bottom of the fourth on a walk with the bases loaded.
Dalton Williams came in to relieve Keith. The Panthers would enter the fifth inning down by eight. High Point allowed three runs in the fifth, and Everett Vaughan came in to close it out with a big strikeout.
Adam Stuart was able to get the Panthers on the board in the sixth with a one run single, but a Campbell home run made it 13-1. Patrick Matthews drove in a run for the Panthers in the seventh inning, which made the score 13-2.
The Panthers cut the deficit to 10 when Jack Pokorak drove in Trenton Pallas in the eighth.
Patrick Libby came in to pitch the bottom of the inning as the Panthers gave up one run in the inning. Unfortunately, HPU couldn't mount a comeback.
