Coach Boswell: "I am really pleased with the way my team came out today and I am super excited with all of the contributions off of the bench. We have to be good at the right time and it is happening for us right now and I am really thankful that it is all coming together for this team".

Nowakowski started the day threading the needle and continued her efforts throughout the duration of the game. The senior attacker assisted Rosselli for the first goal of the contest and then Loescher assisted Miles for her first of the evening.

After another goal from Rosselli, freshman Reese Dowgiallo absolutely juked her defender to put her fourth goal of the season in the back of the net.

It was a close 4-2 score at the end of the first. Pia Cavallaro dodged around the crease and ripped one in, followed by a goal from Cha. A 4-1 run from the Panthers with other contributions from Genovese and Brockamp extended the lead to five going into the half.

Nowakowski already tallied four assists in the first 30 minutes and there were seven different goal-scorers.

Loescher and Rosselli opened up the third quarter scoring, as Rosselli secured a hat-trick and her ninth goal in three games.

"Kay is really coming out of her shell and giving us what we need from a junior midfielder. She is contributing on both ends of the field and I am really pleased with ehr performance" said Boswell.

With just over eight minutes left in the third quarter, an eight-meter attempt by Miles ricocheted off the post, but Cha was there to clean it up. After a few more goals by the Panthers, Genovese took it coast-to-coast to put HPU up 14-5.

Grace Bruce got in on the action off of Nowakowski's fifth assist and it was all High Point from there. The Mena and Mandy connection put another point on the board and two freshmen ended the scoring to put the icing on the cake to secure the win.

Freshman Allie Connally wrapped around the Terrier goalie to net a no-angle first career goal. Loescher and Nowakowski led in points this evening. Loescher contributed three goals and two assists. Nowakowski was a points leader with a career-high in points and assists (5). Genovese had three goals, seven draw controls and three caused turnovers. Rosselli had three goals, three draw controls, and three caused turnovers.

Taylor Suplee added five saves and Jenna Kraft had four caused turnovers. Macdonald, Brockamp, and Kucia each caused two turnovers on the defensive end.

"Our offense is really looking like a team. It is a really good confidence boost and it has allowed us to improve on some things, and I am really excited to take this into next week" said junior midfielder Kay Rosselli.
