Following the sac bunt, the Panthers loaded the bases with three straight walks. A hit by pitch walked in High Point's second run to take to 2-0 lead after the third inning.

Through four innings, Brett Wozniak did damage on the mound, holding the Fighting Camels to just one hit and striking out four batters.

The Fighting Camels strolled in their third run of the game from third base as the Panthers turned the 6-4-3 double play to get the first two outs of the inning. A strikeout from Sean Duffy retired the side.

Campbell extended their lead with a bunt that led to two unearned runs scored off a Panther throwing error.
