High Point Women's Golf heads down to Charleston to compete in the Rivertowne Invitational hosted by Charleston Southern. The Panthers participated in this event last season and finished seventh out of 16 teams, with
Danielle Suh finishing as the runner up on the individual leaderboard.

The Field
Along with High Point and tournament host Charleston Southern, 16 other teams are in the field. Tulane, Seton Hall, Boston College, Morehead State, USC Upstate, UNC Asheville, North Alabama, Fairleigh-Dickinson, Coastal Carolina, Lipscomb, Richmond, Jacksonville, Western Carolina, Elon, Longwood, Winthrop, and the Citadel are all competing.Â

Format and Schedule
The 54-hole event will be split up into 18 holes each day. Sunday will start at 11 A.M. with standard tee times. Monday will be a shotgun start at 9 A.M. Tuesday will also be a shotgun start, but start at 8:45 A.M.

The 18-hole Arnold Palmer design was once ranked Course of the Year by the South Carolina Golf Course Owners Association. The course features amenities like a driving range, a plantation style clubhouse, practice area, putting green, and PGA teaching professionals. It has five tee boxes ranging from 5100 yards to 7200 yards.
