CHARLOTTE, N.C. - High Point Women's Track and Field won two Big South weekly honors this Wednesday afternoon with Sydney Horn named Field Athlete of the Week and Anjali Mead named Freshman of the Week.

Horn finished 2nd in the seeded portion of women's pole vault with a mark of 4.31 meters at the Bob Pollock Invitational in Clemson, South Carolina this past Friday, January 27th. This is the third Big South weekly award for Horn this year. 

Mead finished runner-up in the unseeded women's pole vault with a personal-best mark of 3.92 meters. This is Mead's second weekly award this year.
