High Point, N.C. – High Point University will host the Big South Volleyball Tournament for the second year in a row. HPU was announced as the host after winning the Big South Conference regular season during the 2022 campaign. The tournament will begin on Saturday, November 18th and end on Sunday, November 19th with the crowning of a Big South Champion.

Admission will be free for all fans attending any of the the Big South Championship matches.
 
The Match up
The Panthers and Blue Hose met on two occasions during the conference regular season. HPU defeated Presbyterian 3-0 on the road and 3-1 at home inside the Millis Center. Dylan Maberry led the Panthers in the first match up in Clinton, S.C. with 16 kills, while Jordyn Schilling picked up 21 digs on the back row. In the match up at home, Eve Wilson had a career night with 21 kills for a .613 hitting percentage. Christine Graf and Maberry also reached double-figures on the attack.
 
Presbyterian is led by Kasey Battle on the attack, averaging 2.46 kills per set. On the defensive side, Sophie Del Valle manages the back row, and leads the team with 369 digs (3.93 per set) while Hailey Grocholski leads the team on the block with 98 for the season.
 
NCAA Tournament - How Does it Work?
The winner of the Big South Volleyball Championship will earn an automatic bid to the first round of the NCAA Tournament. The selection show will take place on November 26^th at 6:00 PM.
