High Point University Track and Field will be competing at three separate meets this weekend the 94th Clyde Littlefield Texas Relays, Raleigh Relays, and Bobcat Invitational.
 
Texas Relays
 
Fresh off her national runner up performance in Alabama at the 2022 NCAA Indoor meet Sydney Horn will be jumping again outdoors. Last year in Austin she jumped 4.44m she will be looking to repeat that thrilling performance this weekend.
 
Raleigh Relays
 
Will see a lot of action out of the Panther distance squads with Hocine Bouchrak, Gabriel Ludwick, Sydney Bagus, Ashley Jones, Hannah Brookover, Olive Allen, Franzi Jakobs, Camryn Harper, Lindsey Ickes all in action.
 
Big South Athletes of the Week
 
Big South Female Field Athlete 
 
Mackenzie Horn
 
Cleared 4.15m in the women's pole vault elite final to win the event at the Bill Webb/ Bob Davidson last week in Vert Stadium. Horn defeated competition from UNC, Duke, JMU, Elon, Saint Francis, UNCW, and Bryant. 
 
Big South Male Field Athlete 
 
Chris Van Niekerk
 
Van Niekerk broke his school record in the discus when he threw 58.66m and won the men's discus. 
 
Bob Davidson/Bill Webb Highlights
 
Nyile Facey who set a school record in the 100m hurdles with a time of 13.18. Facey broke her prior school record which she set at the 2021 Big South Outdoor Championships.
 
Dudley ran a time of 10.22 seconds, which is currently the second-fastest time in the country. Dudley's time had less than 4.0mph of wind, which makes it legal for possible NCAA regional qualification.
