The High Point University baseball team dropped the series finale 4-3 in Lexington on Sunday afternoon against the University of Kentucky. Cole Singsank led the way for HPU going 2 for 4, with two runs on the day.

The Wildcats put the first run of the game on the board in the bottom of the third inning with a stand up double, scoring the runner from second.
Cole Singsank tied the game at 1 in the top of the fourth inning with a solo home run hit over the left field wall.
Sam Zayicek followed up Singsank's homerun with a standup double of his own, which hit off the left field fence.
The Panthers took the lead in the top of the sixth inning when Adam Stuart hit an RBI single to left field to score Peyton Carr from second base. HPU extended their lead to 3-1 after a Kentucky wild pitch allowed for Singsank to cross home plate.
The Wildcats brought themselves within one run in the bottom of the seventh inning on a fielder's choice play.
Kentucky tied the game at three in the bottom of the ninth inning with a sacrifice bunt.
Up Next: The Panthers will return to Williard Stadium as they host the Mountaineers of West Virginia on Wednesday (Mar. 16). First pitch is set for 4 pm.
