The High Point University women's basketball team extended their win streak to four games with a win over the Radford Highlanders, 64-49, in the Qubein Center on Monday night.
Jenson Edwards led the way for the HPU offense with 18 points on the day.
Callie Scheier finished with 10 points.
Cydney Johnson had 7 rebounds.
Head coach
Chelsea Banbury: "Obviously I think there's things that we need to clean up, but I am happy that we were able to get a win. We had a little bit of a slow start, Jenson was able to provide us with a spark at the beginning of the game. She was attacking the basket and she did a good job of finishing at the rim and going on the catch. So I was happy to see that, but our transition defense wasn't where it needed to be. We're going to have to clean that up. I thought they got too many easy points in transition and we have a quick turnaround, playing them again on Wednesday. So we have some things to clean up and we'll hopefully be better the next time we play them."
