Score: High Point 0, Queens 1
Records: High Point (7-4-4, 4-0-2), Queens (4-10-0, 1-5-0)
Head coach
Zach Haines: "It's unfortunate. I feel for my guys, they did more than enough to win the game tonight, but we didn't. The few key moments were not in our favor and that made the difference. But it's a very frustrating one because you can't come away from that with anything but a win based on the overall performance. The guys are feeling it, but we'll dust ourselves off and focus on the priority, which is Upstate on Saturday."
In the first 15 minutes of play, High Point had a goal scored by
Noah Holmes, but it was called back after the referee signaled offsides on the Panthers.
Trent made big plays in goal all night, keeping a clean sheet until the 85
th minute of play when a foul was called on the Panther keeper in the penalty area, giving Queens the penalty kick opportunity.
Up Next: High Point travels to USC Upstate on Saturday to continue Big South conference play. Kickoff in Spartanburg is set for 7:00 p.m.
