CORAL SPRINGS, Fla. – The High Point University women's golf team had three members in junior
Samantha Vodry, freshman
Sarah Kahn and sophomore
Caitie Gehlhausen, named to the 2019 Women's Golf Coaches Association (WGCA) All-American Scholars Team, the association announced today (July 8).

Vodry is a Psychology major with a 3.71 cumulative GPA. She posted the second-lowest 54-hole total in program history en route to medaling at the 2019 Big South Championship. After her junior season, she ranks first in program history in career birdies (201) and eagles (eight). Vodry is also second in scoring average at 76.35 and par or better rounds at 10. She set the single-season records for birdies (76) and eagles (4). The Mooresville, N.C., native was named to the Big South All-Academic Team in 2019.

Kahn is majoring in Psychology and has a 3.68 GPA. The Freshman earned All-Big South Freshman Team honors after averaging 75.24 strokes in 29 rounds, which was good enough for the second-best single-season scoring average in school history. She finished tied for 13
th at the Big South Championship with 227 (82-75-74). The Palm Beach Gardens, Fla., native finished second at the UD Lady Blue Hen Invitational with a score of 218 (71-69-78). Psychology 3.68

Gehlhausen is majoring in Entrepreneurship and has registered a 3.89 cumulative GPA. She posted her best score of 233 (76-81-76) at the Kiawah Island Intercollegiate. The Ciecero, Ind., native was named a Millis Scholar-Athlete in 2019. She finished 36
th at the Kingsmill Intercollegiate at 247.

In order to qualify for the honor the golfers must have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.50 and must compete in 50 percent of their teams events. This is the second time Vodry and Gehlhausen have earned the honor with the first time coming last season.
