The High Point University men's soccer team (10-5-0, 5-0-0 Big South), who coming off its second-straight win over Duke in as many years, will be back in Big South action as they travel to Virginia to play Radford (4-9-2, 2-4-0 Big South) on Saturday (Oct. 26) evening.

Matchup History
  • The Panthers hold a 10-12-4 record in the all-time series against the Highlanders, winning last year's matchup, 2-1. Ryan Inman scored the game-winning penalty kick goal in the 666th minute of the contest.
  • HPU has won the last four matches between the two teams, dating back to the 2015 season, including a 1-0 win in 2016 over then No. 25-ranked Radford.
Panther Notes
  • HPU is coming off a 1-0 win over Duke on Tuesday in Durham. The team has now won four-straight and eight of their last ten matches heading into the final stretch of the regular season.
  • Alex Abril had the difference-making goal in Tuesday's win at Duke. The sophomore is now tied with Jordan Lonchar for the team-lead in goals (4).
  • Jonathan Bolanos had the helper on Abril's game-winner, his second assist on the season, the most of any Panther along with Abril and Inman.
  • Redshirt senior goaltender Keegan Meyer, who was named Big South player of the week, added another shutout performance to his all-time program leading record, with a two-save performance in Durham. Meyer now has 27 career shutouts for HPU.
  • The HPU defense will look to continue playing strong in front of Meyer, as they lead the Big South for opponent's goal average, allowing only .80 goals per game in conference play.
  • Sophomore defenseman Josh Dubost continues to be an iron man in the backfield, playing all 90 minutes in the game against Duke. This was the twelfth time Dubost has played for the entirety of the game this season, as he has recorded 1,365 minutes of action this year, the most of anyone on the team besides Meyer.
Across the Bench
  • Radford heads into Saturday's contest with an overall record of 4-9-2 with a 2-4-0 mark in Big South play.
  • The Highlanders are coming off a 5-0 nonconference loss at No. 3 Clemson on Tuesday, after winning two of their last three Big South matches.
  • Amadou Macky Diop leads Radford with four goals and eight points, while Pape Oumar Gueye leads the team with six assists along with eight points.
  • Goalkeeper Joseba Incera has played 13 games for the Highlanders, with a 1.60 goals against average and a .650 save percentage. He has notched two shutouts this season.

Up Next: HPU will return to Vert Stadium next Saturday (Nov. 2) to host the only other undefeated Big South team, Campbell. Kickoff is set for 7 p.m.
