HIGH POINT, N.C. – The High Point University volleyball team will continue conference play as it travels to South Carolina this weekend. The Panthers will go to Clinton, S.C. to play Presbyterian at 6 p.m. Friday, Oct. 5 before going to Charleston, S.C. to face Charleston Southern at 2 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 6.

On the Panthers
• The Panthers improved their overall record to 8-8 and their conference record to 4-1 with a 3-0 win over Campbell in the Millis Center on Tuesday, Oct. 2.
• Senior
Molly Livingston leads High Point offensively with 2.80 kills per set (fifth in the Big South) and a .325 hitting percentage (third in the Big South).
• Defensively, sophomore
Abby Bottomley leads the way with 5.35 digs per set, which ranks first in the Big South. Livingston is ninth in the Big South with .80 blocks per set.

On the Blue Hose
• Presbyterian comes into the match with a 6-9 overall record and a 4-1 Big South record, which is tied for first in the Big South. The Blue Hose dropped their match against Charleston Southern 2-3 Tuesday, Oct. 2 in Charleston, S.C.
• Sophomore Sydney De Jong is tops on the team and fifth in the Big South with a .303 hitting percentage, while freshman Erin Cooke leads the team with 2.52.
• De Jong is also the defensively leader ranking third in the Big South and first on the team with 1.12 blocks per set. Redshirt-junior leads the Blue Hose and is fourth in the Big South in digs per set at 4.38

On the Buccaneers
• Charleston Southern brings into Saturday's match with an 8-5 overall record and a 3-2 Big South mark after defeating Presbyterian 3-2 Tuesday, Oct. 2 in Charleston, S.C. The Buccaneers are currently fourth in the Big South.
• Redshirt-freshman Madison Malloch leads the Buccaneers and ranks sixth in the Big South in kills per set at 2.79, while senior Hannah Western is tops on the team and eighth in the Big South in hitting percentage at .276.
• Senior Madison Martin leads Charleston Southern defensively averaging 5.18 digs per set, which ranks second in the Big South. Junior Caitlyn Michalski is fifth in the Big South with .92 blocks per set.
