HIGH POINT, N.C.— No. 22 High Point University men's soccer prepares for its second straight top-25 matchup this Tuesday playing the No. 5/15 Duke Blue Devils on the road this Tuesday at 7 p.m. The Blue Devils were ranked as high as fifth in this week's rankings, while the Panthers slipped back three spots after a 4-2 loss to No. 1/No. 2 Wake Forest.

After falling behind by a pair of goals, the Panthers managed to tie the score of their match against the Demon Deacons before the end of the first half, on tallies from
Siggi Benonysson and
Tony Pineda. Before the team's decision at Wake Forest, High Point had been in the middle of a six-game winning streak, while riding back-to-back overtime wins in conference. HPU came in at No. 22 in the 'College Soccer News' Top-30, while its No. 43 ranking in the most recent RPI is over 80 spots ahead of the next Big South member, Radford.Â
Duke enters the week on a three-game winning streak, dropping No. 9 Notre Dame at home this past Friday, and defeating No. 10 Virginia on the road the previous week. The Blue Devils are one of seven ACC teams to get ranked in the top-10 of the most recent RPI poll, taking their last loss back on September 29th in a 4-2 road loss at Wake Forest.Â
