HIGH POINT, N.C. – The High Point University women's basketball team takes its eight-game winning streak on the road on Tuesday night to take on the Big South's preseason favorite Radford at 7:00 p.m.

The Panthers moved to 12-5 and 6-0 in Big South play with a 62-41 victory over Longwood on Saturday in the Millis Center. Meanwhile, the Highlanders (11-6) moved to 4-2 in conference play with a 38-point triumph over Presbyterian.

Quick Hitters
• Emma Bockrath is one of two players in the Big South Conference to average at least 10.0 points, 6.0 rebounds and 2.0 assists per game joining GWU's Tierra Huntsman.

• During her first season as the team's main point guard, Camryn Brown leads the Big South with a 2.2 assist-to-turnover ratio.

• The Panthers are on a eight-game winning streak, which is their longest since Dec.-Jan. of 2011-12 when the team claimed nine straight contests.

• Redshirt-junior Kennedy Currie has become a key to the Panthers defense. The forward is one of two players in the Big South averaging at least 7.0 rebounds, 1.0 steals and 1.0 blocks per contest this season.

• Including the flurry of victories to end the 2016-17 season, the Purple & White have won 16 of their last 17 regular season contests against Big South opponents. The team has won its most recent meeting with the nine other Big South programs.

• Bockrath - the 2016-17 Big South Player of the Year - has scored in double figures 31 times in 44 career contests against Big South Conference foes. Those 31 games include eight 20-point outbursts.

• The HPU defense is coming alive in conference play ranking first in the league in steals (12.2/game) and turnover margin (+7.83/game) while sitting in third in scoring defense (55.3/game).

• Head coach DeUnna Hendrix has 70 Big South wins, which make her the eighth winningest coach in league history. Meanwhile, her .686 winning percentage is the second-highest mark among coaches with 100 regular season league games.

• The Panthers are 70-32 against conference foes under Hendrix. That's the second-best mark in the league during her tenure at High Point trailing only Liberty.

• During Hendrix's six years roaming the HPU sideline, the team has gone 32-19 in road conference games.

• The Panthers are 6-0 in the league, which is the best start of Hendrix's career as a head coach. However, as an assistant, Hendrix helped HPU open league play 9-0 in 2011-12.

• HPU is the only Big South team with three players in the top-10 in scoring with Kat Harris (5th), Bockrath (6th) and Brown (10th).

More on the Streak
• A win would tie the 2011-12 and 2004-05 teams for the longest D-I winning streak in program history. The last time HPU won 10 games in a row came in 1997-98 when the program competed at the D-II level.

• It's the second straight season in which the Purple & White had an at least eight-game turnaround. Last year, the team went from 5-13 to 15-14 - a nine-game improvement.

Reserves Needed
• High Point is 10-1 when the bench outscores its opponent's reserves and 2-4 when that margin is reversed.

• HPU averages a 23.3-13.8 edge in its wins and a 25.2-17.3 deficit in losses. Harris has accounted for 57 of the 73 bench points in the team's five losses.

Race to 1,000 Career Points
Harris and Bockrath enter Tuesday's contest in the top-12 in HPU's Division I scoring list as they close in on 1,000 points. Harris is 11th with 924 points while Bockrath is 12th with 923. Despite being at HPU for one extra season, Harris has played 381 fewer minutes.

The Hunt for Win No. 100
Head coach DeUnna Hendrix sits at 98 career wins with all of them coming at HPU. Hendrix is already third in all-time wins and would join Tooey Loy as the only two 100-win coaches since the program moved to D-I competition.

Well, They're Free
• HPU finished the 2016-17 campaign ranked 33rd in the nation with a 75.3 free-throw percentage and is 53rd in country this season (74.6).

•After starting the season 22-of-41 (.537) in the first three games, the team is 186-of-238 (.781) from the line during the last 14 contests.

All-Time Series with Radford
High Point is 27-18 all-time against the Highlanders, but are below .500 at 9-11 when visiting the Dedmon Center. Each of HPU's last three visits to Radford were decided in the closing seconds with the home team winning twice.

Scouting the Highlanders
The preseason favorites have played championship level defense this season holding opponents to 56.6 points per outing and 38 percent shooting. However, the offense has been an issue scoring just 60.8 points per game. Radford is an experienced group with six of the seven rotation players in at least their third collegiate season.

Matchup to Watch
Who will control the pace? High Point is 8-0 under coach Hendrix when scoring at least 65 points against the Highlanders. Meanwhile, Radford is 5-1 when holding the Panthers under that 65-point mark.

Next Up
HPU concludes a stretch of five road games through eight league contests at Charleston Southern on Saturday at 3:00 p.m.
