High Point Notes:
• The Panthers are coming off their third straight double-overtime match, falling 1-0 on Tuesday at No. 4 Wake Forest. Redshirt-sophomore Keegan Meyer made a career-high seven saves to keep HPU even in the match.
• Four of the Panthers' last five games have gone past regulation, something not uncommon in recent years. With the loss at Wake Forest, 20 of HPU's 47 games under head coach EJ O'Keeffe have needed OT. HPU holds a 3-4-13 record when extra time is needed.
• High Point has won or tied 30 of its last 41 games (20-10-11) dating back to 2015. Of the 41 matches, 29 have been decided by one goal or ended in a tie.
• HPU has seen six of its first seven games this year decided by one goal or end in a tie. The tight contests have been the norm in three seasons under O'Keeffe, who is 12-9 in one-goal games.
• The Panthers have shown their scoring depth this season with their seven goals coming from five different players (plus an own goal). Redshirt-junior Justen Shear is the only player with multiple goals, scoring the winner at UNCG and the tying goal against Davidson.
• The Purple & White are projected to finish second in the Big South this season according to the league's preseason poll.

UNC Asheville Notes:
• UNC Asheville is coming off its first win of the year vs. Wofford on Tuesday, 2-0. Like High Point, the Bulldogs have also faced Davidson (L 3-2, OT) and UNCG (L 2-0) in non-conference play.
• The Bulldogs have scored five goals this season from five different players. Ben Chapal and Jackson Allen are tied for the team lead with three points (1G, 1A)
• Tyler Moore has played a majority of the minutes in net, holding a 2.20 GAA and .683 save percentage on the season.
• Asheville was projected to finish seventh in the Big South preseason poll after a 5-3-0 conference record last season.

Series Notes:
• The Panthers and Bulldogs are meeting for the 29th time in school history.
• HPU has dominated the all-time series, winning 20 of the 28 matchups including five in a row. The Panthers have not allowed a goal in any of the five matches, outscoring Asheville 17-0.
• Dating back to 2006, HPU has a 12-game unbeaten streak against UNC Asheville (10-0-2).
• High Point won last year's matchup at Vert Stadium, 7-0. Siggi Benonysson (two goals), Bana Ganidekam, Connor Cesar, and Poli Rodriguez contributed goals for the Panthers.
