CHARLOTTE, N.C. — High Point University's Nick Sarantakos has been named the Big South Conference Freshman of the Week for the third time this season as announced by the league office on Monday afternoon.

Sarantakos assisted Lucas Kelly's game-winning goal with three seconds remaining to lift High Point to a 2-1 road victory at USC Upstate. The win extended the Panthers' winning streak to six, tied for the longest in the nation, and their 10-year unbeaten streak on the road in Big South play. The assist was Sarantakos' fourth of the season and his second in as many games. He also put one shot on goal in 54 minutes of action.
