HIGH POINT, N.C.—The High Point University men's and women's track and field teams will send a select group of student-athletes to the Liberty Collegiate Invitational Friday and Saturday (April 7-8) at the Matthes-Hopkins Track Complex in Lynchburg, Va.
 
The Panthers are scheduled to have 12 women and nine men competing. Action on Friday begins at noon, while Saturday's schedule is slated to start at 10:15 a.m.
 
The field will feature student-athletes from 26 schools, including Big South squads from Liberty, Radford and Winthrop.
 
Last time out, the Panthers hosted the ninth-annual VertKlasse Meeting, which featured over 1,500 athletes from over 45 schools at Vert Stadium. The Panthers had six NCAA East region performances, including sophomore Keaton Case, who captured the titles in the women's 800m and 1,500m.
 
Next up, the Panthers travel to Elon, N.C., April 15 for the Phoenix Invite.
