HIGH POINT, N.C. – The High Point University women's basketball team looks to make it three straight wins when it hosts UNC Asheville on Saturday at 2 p.m. in the Millis Center on ESPN3.
The Panthers (7-13) moved to 5-4 in the conference with a dominant 80-49 triumph at Longwood on Tuesday night. In that contest, the Purple & White received 49 points from the trio of senior
Kaylah Keys and sophomores
Emma Bockrath and
Lindsey Edwards while holding the Lancers' offense to 33 percent shooting.
Quick Hitters

Emma Bockrath has ramped up her already staggering production since the conference season started. The sophomore is averaging 14.3 points, 7.1 rebounds, 3.6 assists and 2.1 steals in HPU's nine league contests.

Kaylah Keys went 5-of-5 from beyond the three-point line at Longwood to pass Jurica Hargraves as High Point's all-time leader in three-pointers made. Likewise, her start on Tuesday moved her into a tie with Frances Fields on top of HPU's Division I start list with 105 career starts.

Shea Morgan has come on in Big South action scoring 6.9 points per game while knocking down 29-of-50 field goals (.580). The sophomore also posts 1.8 assists per league game.
• Outside of her record scoring pace,
Kaylah Keys is headed toward other remarkable career milestones. The guard needs 43 rebounds, three assists and six steals to become the first Panther in the team's Division I era to rack up 400 rebounds, 300 assists and 200 steals.
• In 2015-16, the Purple & White averaged 35.8 rebounds per game and finished 241st in the nation. However, this season the Panthers are 75th this year with 40.4 rebounds per contest.
• High Point was credited with a season-high 25 assists on its 31 made shots at Longwood. This year, the team averages assists on 61.5 percent of its field goals this season. For comparison, the 2015-16 squad dished out assists on 50.5 percent of its made baskets while the Bulldogs have assisted on 45.1 percent of their buckets this winter.
• The Purple & White recorded its second-lowest scoring total in the program's Division I era at Campbell on Jan. 24. But since then, the squad is averaging 83.5 points per game while outscoring Presbyterian and Longwood by a combine score of 167-109.
• The Panthers are second in the Big South in both free throw and three-point shooting. The squad is up to 39th nationally at the charity stripe and 48th from beyond the arc.

• Along with averaging 83.5 points the last two games, the Panthers have hit 22-of-42 attempts from beyond the arc (52.4 percent).

All-Time Series with UNC Asheville
The Bulldogs ended a 13-game losing streak with two wins over HPU last season. However, High Point won the first meeting this season to up its record to 35-13 in the series.

Camryn Brown drilled 10-of-10 free throws and
Emma Bockrath scored 14 second-half points as HPU earned a 76-60 win at UNC Asheville on Jan. 14.
Scouting the Bulldogs
Since the beginning of conference play, preseason Big South Player of the Year, Chatori Major, is second in the league in scoring with 15.1 points per game. However, the team is just 5-4 due to losing their next two top scorers in Tianna Knuckles and Khaila Webb. But over the last five games, the Bulldogs are 3-2 with two one-possession losses to Radford and at Gardner-Webb.
The Matchup to Watch
Two of the Big South's three teams that are averaging more than 65 points per game will meet on Saturday in the Millis Center.
