HIGH POINT, N.C. – High Point University men's track & field's junior James House and women's basketball's sophomore Emma Bockrath have been named the Lindsay Properties HPU Student-Athletes of the Week for the week of Jan. 7 - Feb. 12.
 
House posted two top-six finishes at the High Point University Team Challenge on Thursday at the JDL Fast Track in Winston-Salem, N.C. House finished second in the 60m dash with a time of 7.04. He then posted a sixth-place finish in the 200m with a time of 22.73. 
 
Meanwhile, Bockrath averaged 25.5 points and 6.0 rebounds per contest to lead the Purple & White to wins at Winthrop and at Gardner-Webb. The sophomore's offensive explosion helped HPU continue its season-long five-game winning streak as the Panthers have pulled within one game of Radford and Campbell atop the Big South standings.
