High Point Notes:
• The Panthers earned the second outright Big South regular season championship in school history with a 1-0 victory last Wednesday at Longwood. HPU is the No. 1 seed in the Big South Tournament for the second-time ever (2010, L Championship).
• High Point has won five in a row, tied for the third-longest active winning streak in the nation, trailing only Akron (W8) and Western Michigan (W6).
• HPU finished the regular season winning its final six league matches, the longest single-season stretch since HPU went a perfect 8-0 en route to winning the 2010 regular season title.
• Nine Panthers earned All-Big South accolades, headlined by Coach of the Year EJ O'Keeffe and co-Defensive Player of the Year Rashid Tetteh. Seven players were named to the first, second, or honorable mention teams, the second-most in program history (2010).
• Sophomore keeper Keegan Meyer has turned the corner over his last 11 matches. In that stretch, he has allowed just five goals in 1047:25 in net (0.43 GAA). Meyer led the Big South in GAA (0.82) and save percentage (.794) and earned first team honors.
• HPU ranks among the top 25 in the nation in the two goal prevention categories: GAA (0.78, 22nd) & Save% (.800, 25th).

Liberty Notes:
• Liberty advanced to the semifinals of the Big South tournament with a 3-0 win over No. 5 seed Gardner-Webb on Sunday. The Flames scored twice in the final six minutes to pull away.
• The Flames are in the conference semifinals for the first time since 2013 when they advanced to the conference championship.
• LU was one of the top defensive teams in the Big South,  topping the league in shutouts (8) and ranking second in GAA (0.92). Keeper James Knoebel holds a 0.95 GAA on the season.
• Tresor Mbuyu (11 G, 5 A) and Kevin Mendoza (11 G, 4 A) have combined for 53 points in the Liberty attack this year.

Series Notes:
• High Point and Liberty have clashed 33 times in school history entering Wednesday's match, including HPU's 2-0 win on Oct. 25.
• In the regular season matchup, Ryan Inman and Ebe Kudolo scored to give High Point the win. Keegan Meyer made three saves to earn the clean sheet.
• High Point and Liberty have clashed four times in the conference tournament with the Flames having taken the last three. LU claimed a quarterfinal victory over HPU in 2013.
• A win would elevate High Point to its second conference title game in three seasons and fourth overall ('06, '10, '15).
